- 'Team Black Cat' clothing range launched

- Joker wins 'The Wisden Cricketer' award

The Joker was awarded the best 'innovative' bat in 2011 Wisden Cricketer gear test. The bat is now available for purchase again in our online shop.

October 2010

- Voodoo LE released

Black Cat has released its limited edition bat, the Voodoo for the 2011 season. The bat has a lower middle than the Shadow, and has some of the classiest stickers in the cricket market, available in eight different colours.

The bat is available for purchase now, from £250 delivered.

- More Jokers on their way...

The hugely popular Joker, from Black Cat, is almost available to purchase again, after selling out early in the season.

Due to the immense demand for the Joker, we have unfortunately sold out of these bats for the immediate future, and therefore cannot take any new orders for this

- Joker featured in SkySports magazine.

The Joker was featured in the June/July 2010 issue of SkySports magazine. The bat was listed in the '5 things we like' section, on page 55.

- Shadow stuns Wisden Cricketer.

May 2010

- Joker introductory pricing ending soon.

On 1st June, the price for the Grade One Joker will rise from the special introductory price of £200 to £220. As before, this price includes delivery within the UK.

The Joker has been extremely popular already this summer, and the Black Cat Cricket team has sent bats to numerous different countries for players to enjoy our bats.

Black Cat has reacted to international demand for its bats by adding new shipping options. Preset shipping destinations now include mainland Europe, USA/Canada and India. All bats sent by Black Cat are recorded, trackable and fully insured for complete peace of mind.

- Joker launched

Black Cat launched the Joker on the 15th March. On this date, all those who had pre-ordered their Jokers received them, and we took many more orders from all over the world!

- Launch date confirmed for the Joker

B lack Cat can confirm the launch date for the Joker is Monday 15th March. Bats that have been pre-ordered will be sent out so they are received on th 15th.

The Joker will be featured in numerous magazines/blogs, and is sure to be a massive hit this summer.

Black Cat can confirm that one of the most eagerly anticipated bat launches- the Joker- is nearing.

The Joker is a revolutionary new bat design, allowing 45mm edges (and a 70mm middle) on a bat that weighs 2lb 10oz, and that plays like a 2lb 8oz bat.

- 2010 Black Cat Shadow pictures released

Photos of the new 2010 Black Cat Shadow have been added to the site. The Shadow has a brand new shape, and stunning new stickers. The Shadow is priced at £240, and is available in SH & LH.

- Black Cat Christmas discount

Black Cat Cricket is delighted to offer all customers a £25 discount on all bats ordered before the new year. With this discount, our first edition bat will cost £215, and a custom made bat, £250.

September 2009

- Black Cat Cricket is delighted to have secured its own willow tree plantation.

The 170 tree plantation is just over 20 years old, and will be harvested in the coming months. this puts us being in the unique position of being the only batmakers in the country with our own willow supply. Please see the willow section for more details...
